Health Contraindications and Heat Safety
Important heat-exposure safety information before using sauna or heat-training features.
Effective April 26, 2026
Heat exposure can be risky
Sauna and heat training can create meaningful physiological stress. Risks may be higher with cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, pregnancy, heat illness history, dehydration, fever or infection, certain medications, fainting history, severe heat sensitivity, or other health conditions.
Check before starting
Do not start heat exposure if you are unsure whether it is safe for you. Consult a qualified clinician before beginning or continuing heat training if you have any known risk factors or symptoms.

Stop when needed
Stop a session if you feel dizzy, faint, confused, nauseated, unusually weak, short of breath, have chest pain, or otherwise feel unsafe. Seek medical attention when symptoms warrant it.
